The Federation of Universities Senior Staff Association of Ghana, UCC chapter has organised a two day workshop on managerial skills for its executives.

The workshop was on the theme, “Enhancing Productivity through Professional Training”.

According to John Ato-Mensah, a Training and Development Consultant with Soft Skills Solution Consults who facilitated the programme, the workshop provided training needed for effective interaction with members and the attainment of the goals of the association.In an interaction with the secretary of the association, Kofi Adom-Nyankey, he noted that, such workshops were relevant for all associations since the academic training acquired by the individuals do not cater for their managerial skills. He urged other associations to emulate FUSSAG by giving their executives the required training in managerial skills.Source: Love Nwanna / ATL FM NEWS
